I strive to create a research and teaching environment where people are empowered to safely be their authentic selves so they can better learn and engage with each other and the science.

 

To this end I participate in outreach, teaching, and service activities that reflects these community values and seek collaboration in my efforts to remove barriers to participation in science through diversity, equity, inclusion and justice (DEIJ) initiatives.
